Well I always said I would only breastfeed for 6 months if I could make it to 6 months that was my goal now she's 7 months :smiliedance:

I told my DP this morning I am now aiming for 12 months:yelclap: his response was rather sorrowful as this could mean TTC#2 will take even longer he thinks extended BF is fantastic and is a real advocate to our friends wives on the whole issue :o at times lol but he just really wants another baby SO much I am not going to stop feeding Eliza I couldn't emotionally!

I think it's important to concentrate on the child we have already and give her a good start food wise in life and baby #2 will come when they're meant to. :D

Poor guy I don't think I have ever seen a man yearn for another child as much as he does!

I am just so haappy to of reached 7 months and to be able to continue!

Well done on reaching your goal - as for ttc #2 taking longer - it may not, I conceived after nearly a year of trying with DS and then this time we were not even trying (and I am breastfeeding still) and presto bub on board (I was definately shocked)!
