vicks vaporub?

wondering if vicks vaporib is ok to use while breastfeeding ..... obviously not rubbed on the nipples :p :o but just on the chest and throat.

I wouldn't. My GP said normal Vicks is way to strong to use on bub, so I guess if bubs in that general area often, I'd avoid it. But the Baby Balsam sould be OK, its formulated for babies. But just give your CHN or GP a ring to be on the safe side.
