Don't know about anyone else, but I am sooooo sick of the sun! Why won't it rain? Suppose to get a storm today - nothing at my place.
My neighbours daughter (aged 3) and I did a rain dance last night. Didn't work.

Just felt like a winge :D

I want rain too. I'm sick of this 38C+ heat. The clouds keep taunting us with rain. Tonight we had a few thunderheads float by. Arrrrghh. They don't call this the silly season for nothing LOL :)

Hi

Yes we really do need rain! I had a thought the other day when my Nick was playing under a sprinkler at Stanthorpe (not water restricted lucky them) that he won't get the chance to do that unless we get some really serious rain.

Don't get me wrong I agree with the restrictions but some of my favourite memories as a kid was playing under the sprinkler and tying the hose to the hills hoist and spinning it around - aaahhh who would have thought things like that could change

We've been having some lovely rain in Sydney so maybe it's headed North... here's hoping! My parents have acreage so they would love some I'm sure!

nicksmoo I know what you mean, this is the one thing about water restrictions I hate. Last year we were able to use sprinklers and my DD had such a great time playing under it.
