What sort of time frame could I extend it out too? AF hasn't returned yet (at 9 months pp) and I'm wondering how much longer I can enjoy this for!

My boy doesn't eat much solids yet, so the outlook is good, right?

You could be a while off AF returning. Mine took over a year to come back after the first two kids, and no signs here yet again either :smiliedance: I have heard it taking up to two years to return. Think I'd be worried by then though.

Yay for breastfeeding.

Not sure here! Last time I got AF back right away (4 weeks after birth), but this time I still haven't got it back 4.5 months after birth :smiliedance: It's great isn't it!

yay! 2 years would be the best. I love breastfeeding!

I've saved a fortune in tampons, chocolate and anger management books. It's fabulous :D

:( I am still breastfeeding my 14 month old son and have had AF for 12 months.
After having my 3rd child, although I breastfed her, I got AF when she was exactly 28 days old and it was like clock work ever since.

I didn't get AF back until DD had almost completely weaned. She would have been about 12 months.
One of the many joys of Breastfeeding!:yelclap:

Yep mine's back already (Hugh's 4 months old),
has been for about 2 months now.
he's been sleeping through since week 6 though so that might have a bearing, not sure?

I told her she wasn't welcome. I turned all the lights off and hid, pretending not to be in when she called but alas, at 10 weeks, she tracked me down.

Silly old moo.

I only got 7.5 months off :banghead: though I stopped feeling sorry for myself after talking to my friend who just had her 3rd baby. The poor gir got only 2 weeks AF free this time! Bugger!

they say when they go without a feed for 6 hours, regularly, don't they?

I've had my period - every 2 fire-trucking weeks - since 9 weeks thanks to my good sleeper.
*sigh*

poor Seekrit . Every 2 weeks is a bit rough! Is everything OK medically?

Liams still up every 3 hours for a decent feed so I can probably expect it to stay away for a while longer.

Yup, my doctor tells me it's an unfortunate thing about taking the minipill and breastfeeding. I made a thread and others report the same issue *sigh*
