bleeding after d&c and next O?

Hi,

I had a D&c on Wednesday as i had an u/s because of some bleeding and they found there was no longer a heartbeat. I would have been 9 weeks pregnant.:gloomy:

I only bled for 2 days after the D&C and then it seemed to stop but yesterday and this morning i have had more blood in the morning - kind of a gush (sorry TMI) but it is kind of watery.

Is this normal?

My other question is when do you work out your next O date. Is it form the day of the D&C?

I'll try to help. My bleeding stopped after a few days but then came back but only light for 13 days. I'm sure on the 13th day i Oed. I actually think O helpped to stop it.But 10days later i got Af.

For me it was easier to work out O after my first Af.

After my MC my OBGYN said to take the first day of bleeding as the first day of AF. But I did only bleed for 5 days and I didnt need a D&C
I had 1 cycle and the next I was Preg again :yelclap: I am now 12 weeks and everything is going really well.

I had my D&C on the 15th of March and I bled a bit that day and the no bleed for 5 days and then I bled for 3 days starting on the 20th of March (watery and not heavy). I had my next normal period on the 20th April.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I had my d&c on 7 Oct and I didn't bleed much at first but then a week later I bled a lot and it too was quite watery. Four weeks later I'm still getting some brown spotting, and waiting for O. Although my cycles have always been all over the place.

I seem to have stopped bleeding now so :fingerscrossed: my cycle gets back to normal soon and we can TTC again. We are going to wait till after my next proper AF to start TTC.

I must admit i am a bit nervous about TTC again - i keep thinking what if it happens again?

I think this thought is totally normal, i know if this scan shows a baby, i will be thinking what if the heart beat stops. Then i will be thinking what if i have a still born.
When it happens to you and then you read other peoples experiences you become so more aware and worried.

I feel exactly the same about trying again - I just don't know when I"ll be ready. We aren't really using any contraception but I'm not really trying as such. I just don't know how I'll feel next time I get a BFP!!

I don't think that I will be ok next time until I have that baby in my arms and am told that it's all ok!!!

I just wish that AF would come so I can start O.
