My BBH seem to always sag on my DD. They are put on nice and snug as well, they do this with a cover and without one.
Today the nappy was not particularly wet either, it was so low you could see her girly bits . She is a very slim 16 month old.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
I love my BBH, but this keeps happening.

my BBB's do the same thing...I put it on him nice and snug and then after a little while there is a big gap and his doodle isnt even coming into contact with the nappy. I havnt had any leaks but so im not too worried.
I thought maybe I need to turn the front down like for a newborn, I though maybe the leag holes were too generous...but he is 8kgs:eek:
what do you think??
I've never had a prob with them sagging. When i first started using them i found they'd start to slip a bit if I hadn't done them tight enough.

I dont want to do them any tighter or he might stop breathing LOL...
I think maybe they ahve too many inserts in them...making them a bit too bulky...but like i said...no leaks...so im not worried...
Actually, now that you say that Stellarella, my DD2's night nappy tends to sit a bit lower than her day nappy. Daytime we just have the 2 snap-in's, but at night I add a foldup.

We only get the saggy problem when we use both snap in boosters!
During the day I have always used both snap in boosters and have never come across this problem....
At night i also insert a hemp booster (purchased from BB with the nappy) and still haven't come across this problem....
It has me really puzzled as to what is causing this trouble for you 2cherubs.... :detective: Have you tried contacting Davina at Baby Beehinds?? She is fantastic to deal with, I am sure she would be able to help you!

Yes i use both snap in with mine. They are done up very tight as well, as stellarella said any tighter she will stop breathing (LOL).
I have not had any leakages, so no biggy.
Just checking to see if anyone else had a solution.
The snaps are crossed over as well, she is little though.
Does folding in over in front ( newborn ) size make any diff?
Thanks for the replies...
We have wing droop. I put the snaps on the tightest setting even newborn setting and it still droops at the sides. I wasn't too impressed! So I only use them with a cover now.

When my baby started to crawl around 8 months old (he was about 8kg from memory) I started to fold the front down again on the hemp nappies. I found his shape had changed and so the nappies fit really well again after folding the front down. I think I kept it folded down for a few months, then his shape changed again and I didnt need to fold it down anymore. So, I think they are pretty versatile like that. I have one of the new bamboo ones though and it fits a bit different (a bit better IMO! even though I'm happy with the hemps I lurve the new bamboos)
Re wing droop.... we dont get that, but then, we always use covers....it's a fitted so your supposed to?? No wet clothes in our place LOL!

I get wing droop when DS is in longies, but they are fine with a PUL cover of fleece cover.
Most front snapping nappies get wing droop, it's not the brand I can assure you.
If you are having too many problems with wing droop maybe try a side snapping nappy or velcro/touch tape closure :)
I only get wing droop on the BBHs not the bamboo. I think it depends on the material. I do prefer side snapping. Velcro ? Well that is a fun toy isn't it Av?

Weird, I get worse wing droop with my bamboo baby beehinds than I did with the hemp ones.
DD2 gets wing droop with the hemp not bamboo, but only without a cover. But it doesn't really worry me. The nappy's still on and doing it's job:thumbsup:

This still happens when i have a cover on too. I love my BBH's so i will keep trying and see how it goes. I do have velcro and side snapping nappies, which do not droop.
But, i bought the BBH so i will use them too.
How about your email Davina at Baby Beehinds and she could help you. I had the same problem and she got me in touch with a representative in my state who helped me out and now I don't have the problem
