Hello
I am having my daughters 1st birthday party soon and am after some ideas on things i can put in party bags.
Should i have differnt bags for different age groups??
Do i put lollies in the bags now because of the current 'health craze!'

Depending on your theme lol (I like to theme things including goody bags/thankyou pressies:) )
What about going to a $2 shop and getting some largish animals, I saw some huge turtles for $1 the other day and thought they would be cute with a little thankyou note around their necks?
You dont have to do lolly bags necessarily.
Ive also seen soft toys at Ikea (cute little sheepies) for $2 each they would be adorable!
If your going the lolly bag way I would do different lolly bags to suit the different ages attending the party,
Maybe some baby rusks, cheese sticks etc for the younger kiddies and some natural confectionery company lollies for the older kids???
Just some ideas
Hope the party goes well:)

I bought plastic chinese food boxes from my local variety store ($2 for 5), and filled them with party poppers, stickers, hair elastics for girls, dinosaur figurines, packets of popcorn/dixie drumsticks, chupa chups, fortune cookies etc.
I personalised them with name tags.
It's amazing what you can buy for $30 from Franklins and the discount shop!

I reckon they get enough lollies at the party so i give something they can keep.
Nemos mum I love the turtle idea!!!!!!

For DD's 1st birthday, we made lollie bags that were you could say "baby friendly" that had a packet of sultanas, a heinz musli bar, a heinz fruit bar, a rusk and a little bubble thing (you know how you blow bubbles).
Seemed to be alright...
What about things like
~ tiny tubs of playdough, I think I saw some in the party section of Big W.
~ little bottles of bubble liquid...also in the party section
~ little notepads & pencils for the older kids
~ jumbo crayons/chalk

Yes have seperate bags for the older children and babies.. We had lollies and toys.. You can search party favours on ebay and can get the amount you need instead of having left overs.. On Ds' 1st bday I had baby bags with a baby food can of custard, teething rusks, rubber ducky for the bath!!!
