Blinds???

Hi ladies,

I have a lot of windows in my home and blinds too. They are very dusty. I hate that. Do you have any idea for cleaing them easily and quickly and effectively? :-)
Did I ask a difficult question? :D

Our vaccuum cleaner came with a dusting attachment, basically a long-bristled soft brush. I use that to vaccuum the blinds. I've seen special dusters shaped to fit between the slats but never tried them.

For the outside of the windows invest in a good squeegee, like professional window washers use. Makes very quick work of washing them down and scraping them dry with the rubber bit. You can get them at Bunnings or any hardware store. I just use a bit of dish detergent in a bucket of warm or hot water. I did all our windows (about a dozen) and 3 sets of sliding doors in less than 15 minutes on the weekend.

The inside of the windows I use windex (or cheap brand) and newspaper.

i have seen those blind cleaners for sale in the avon catalogues from time to time. haven't tried them myself so not sure how good they are.
