Hey all :)
Just wondering if there are any other mums of 11 month olds that would like to share experiances ans stages of development?
I have a baby boy named Joshua who is 11 months old tomorrow. He is almost walking.. So far he has taken 3 steps by himself without holding onto anything. It's such an exciting thing and a great age!! :D
Hope to hear from you all soon....

Hi,
I'm vonnie, Im 24 and I have an 8 month old girl called Caitlin. I have just joined up to bubhub in the last few days and have been enjoying getting some good ideas from all the other mums here. Caitlin has started to crawl in the last few weeks and is pulling herself to standing on the couch and chairs. We have just found that she has a hip problem and may have to wear a brace type thing which is horrible as it will stop her from getting around easily. Anyway the appointment with the specialist is on Thursday so I will just have to wait untill then to find out the results.
I'm always on line when I'm not attending to Caitlin so feel free to chat! :p

hi vonnie100, :)
Sorry to hear about Caitlyn maybe needing those brace type thingys and her hip problem.. How did your appiontment go?
On a lighter note, which might not sound appropriate at this point in time, Joshua has now taken 5 steps without any encouragement which is sooo exciting..
Anyway, My name is Tracy and I am 23, married to Fred - 30, and have 1 baby boy 'Joshua'...
Hope to hear from you soon :)

Hi milkshake,
That is fantastic! Yay Joshua! Its so exciting to watch them learn new things and how exciting it is for them.
Caitlins hips turned out to be fine which is great. She had an xray and it turned out to be nothing at all. So hopefully soon she will be walking too. They said that the clicking that the health nurse could feel was caitlins knees not her hips and that it is nothing to worry about.
How long have you been married for? How old is Joshua? I've been married for 3 years and caitlin is 8 months and is a joy!
Anyway we are going to look at xmas lights now.

Hi milkshake,
My husband is 29. I got married just before my 21st birthday. We got back from our honeymoon in Thailand and I had my birthday. Was a non event though after a wedding!
Tell me about it....the year has just flown by. I swear I missed a month or two in there somewhere. Are you going to have a party for Joshuas 1st birthday? I cant wait untill I get to do birthdays for Caitlin and make a cake and blow up balloons. I bet I wont be saying that after doing a few of them.
How big is your town/city? I have never heard of it before. Are there other places near by?
Talk again soon

Hey Vonnie :)
I got married just after my 21st birthday! We surprised everyone, they all thought they were coming to my 21st birthday party - but i rocked up in my princess bridal gown, it was so wonderful!
I'm having a 1st birthday party for Josh and inviting all his playgroup buddies! It's going to be sooo cute, I can't wait!!
Murray Bridge is quite big. It would have 20 000 people in it or more even! We're classified as a 'rural city'.. It was the first town to build a bridge across the Murray River hence the name 'Murray Bridge' We're about 45 minute drive from Adelaide with places like 'Mt Barker', and 'Strathalbyn' in between.. Where abouts in Vic do you live? Anywhere near Mildura?
Later :D

Hey milkshake,
That party sounds great! Lots of fun.
I live in Geelong so it is probably the same size as Murray Bridge. I used to live in a small town near Echuca on the Murray.
That must have been so fun to have your 21st as a wedding. How did you keep it a secret....I wouldnt be able to keep it from everyone, I would be smiling to much. :D

Vonnie,
Let me tell you, it was damn hard!! I slipped up a few times to my mum and eventually came clean to her and dad, but to everyone else (besides the bridal party) it was a total surprise!
Do you have MSN? If so add me mcglashan@hypermax.net.au or mcglashan@dart.net.au to your list so we can chat a lot easier!
Bye for now,
