My DD is 16 mo and was happily going to bed at 5.30 and waking about 13 hours later. i know ive had it good. lately she hasnt wanted to go to bed at that time. not sure if it is day light savings or she is changing her sleep routine. she sleeps for about an hour and a half during the day. What time does/did your 16 mo go to bed and wake up in the morning

My Boof who is 19mths old has always gone to bed around 7pm since he was about 9mths approx, wakes anywhere from 7am thru to 9am & has a day sleep anywhere from an hour to 2hrs we just go with what makes him happy.
I was even speaking with my CHN & as she said there is no "right" time for kidlets to go to bed its what works because i was worried that he was eating his dinner at 5.30pm & missing out on a family dinner. So as she advised if i wanted to do it go for it & then he goes to bed later its really up to what they want & are happy with.I figured that Boof was happy this way but if he isnt then i will change it.
Daylight savings makes some kids sleeping times a bit wacky i would just keep at it for another week but if she is still not happy then look at changing it.
Good luck :)

well ds2 is 17 months.. he goes to sleep around 8-9 at night, wakes usually 2-3 times per night for a bottle, and is up between 6-7 :o

my boys are shocking sleepers

he does have a sleep during the day (on the odd occassion)

lately he has been fighting his arvo sleep :shame:
But when he does go down he can sleep between 2-3 hours

DS went to bed at 7pm (very rarely later, he'd fall asleep on the floor...either that or he'd get overtired and wouldn't go to sleep). He woke most nights for a bottle, usually around 2am, then awake again at about 6:30am. He was also needing les day sleep at this age. He was only having one sleep, after lunch for around 2hrs, but by about 18mths he wasn't having day sleeps at all anymore.

My 18mth old dd goes to bed at 7.30 to 8.00. She usually wakes at least once during the night.
She is awake anytime in the morning between 5.00 and 6.00.
She has a lunch time sleep for about 2hrs.

My 2.5yr old has had the same routine since 15m bed 730pm awake 600 to 700 sometimes, but very rarely later. with a day sleep from 12ish of 1.75 to 2hrs. This isn't affected even if he goes to bed at 2 and wakes at 4, he still happily goes to bed at 730pm and is normally asleep within 10mins.

Lucky, yeah I know :)
