My DH, bless his cotton socks, wishes to name our unconceived son Cobey Danger.

One big "WHAT THE!!" from me! But, I have a problem. The problem is I -KNOW- I should hate it, I KNOW it sounds silly, but it is so cute!! Too cute. I can't help loving it!

It's only a middle name, right? :confused:

He he he - so when people ask him, he can reply, like Austin Powers "no, danger is my middle name, baby".That's pretty funny, however ( and I'll be blunt ) -

Just remember, though, what sounds "cute" for a baby now can cause a lifetime of embarrassment to your child, and as they become an adult. I remember at school all the kids got so much flack for middle names, even the conservative ones!

I know I know! I have to hate it. Must hate it. I've gone through all of this myself. :P It's still incredibly cute LOL

Seekrit, how about just telling people that you were going to have "danger" as his middle name, just to have a laugh? It is pretty funny, you and DH must have good senses of humour!!!

I LOVE it, its very cute and when he gets older if he doesnt like it he can always just say he hasnt got a middle name or blame his parents for being Austin Powers fans .

Also just think of the great pick up line your DS would have at night clubs LOL He could whip out his drivers license and show all the ladies :D

I give it a BIG thumbs up, simply for the TOO CUTE factor :p

I think its cute too :) But you do have to be wary of teasing. I almost made Rainbow MJ's middle name. Its the name that i've been called all my life by close friends and also my net name :p Stilll wish i would have done it sometimes but then again, she'll end up a redhead with freckles like me and will get hassled enough :rolleyes:

maybe you could give him the middle name Dee as in D for danger Cobey dee sounds cute and not too over the top :D

Thats our DS middle name DEE, after my maiden name (its a shorten version) call me bias but i think its really cute :p

He rejected all cute middle names I had for our little girl. Well, cute as in 'unable in good conscience would I name my child that' cute. :p

Aah well it COULD be worse!
Someone suggested Chaos, which.. being the nerd I am.. I'd spell Kaos in dedication to Maxwell Smart ;)

a former manager of mine wanted to give his son the middle name of hercules. i quite liked it but it didn't eventuate.

i know of a little girl who's middle name is danger!!
but i not really a fan of the name :confused: (sorry)
