I bought these new nappies 2 weeks ago for my newborn son and they are great. Just wanted to pass it on in case anyone is wary to try anything new, particular storebrand.

The newborn ones are soooo soft, they have a flat flush tummy band with a umbilical cord/stump cut out. They have an extra wide band at the front so it wraps around to the back thus preventing leakage when taped (velcro like) They also congel well with no wet clothes yet! They are $19.95 a box for 54 infant.

Cheers Jen

I always buy the woolies brand for my boys (though Nathan is doing well toilet training so I hope I'll only have to buy for one soon!), but we also find the coles brand quite good too.
I haven't seen the particular ones you're talking about, but our boys are a bit big for them ;)

Hi Sarie,
Yes they are new boxed nappies in various sizes ranging from birth to 25kg! Should've made that clear in orig post, sorry

Hi Sarah

Have you had any leaks with P.J. at night time.I would like to try other nappies as I am still using huggies and they are so expensive. Can you leave them on as long as huggies?

Hey Michelle,
The only time PJ really has any worries is when he's between sizes. Other wise they're good. Though I had PJ in Huggies till he was out of the infant (newborn) size. (check the Dalby post!)
Thanks JenNT! I haven't actually seen them yet, I'll have to keep an eye out.

Thanks Sarah I will try them next week.

Thanks Jen I have been thinking about changing for a while now but didn't want to waste my money on nappies that might leak.

I use them as well and they are surprisingly great! I thought when i first bought them that they would be faulty but ive never had a problem. Im never going back to the huggies nappies. Why pay for a brand name when you can get the same thing but cheaper.

I actually thought they were cheaper in my orig post but they're not, they are more (well where I live)
A bulk BAG of huggies is around $17...a box of same quantity Woolies Select is $20. Even so, i prefer them, they are soft and not bulky.

I too have recently discovered the woolies nappies and find that they are pretty good. I have not been game to try them overnight -(DS still wears a huggie to bed) but they are pretty good at containing everything and cute little froggies on them :p
