Well at the ripe old age of 7 1/2 months we FINALLY had a co-sleeping victory. Andrew has never ever settled to sleep in the 'big bed' with us. But last night he was furious beyond belief and NOTHING would calm him down to sleep in his cot as usual. I have had bugger all sleep this week so I just said thats it - you're sleeping with me! Put him on the boob and he fed himself to sleep and we had 5 hours uninterrupted bliss! It was soooooo nice to wake up and see him beside me. :D

Sooo not sure what is going on with him at the moment. I suspect teething, but nothing to see in there yet. Up until last week he was sleeping through the night up to 11hrs straight, and now he is up and down all night. Very exhausting.

But the co-sleeping worked! So at least now I know I can perservere with it and we can both get some sleep!! Yay!!

Yay for you Nicole!! There must be something in the air.... We've had heaps of trouble with Eleni and sleeping lately - but she IS teething (the sucker is almost through) and has tonsillitis AND now has a cold! I tried the co-sleeping thing a few times, but I probably wasn't patient enough... We kind of co-slept in her feeding chair - it's just a bugger trying to put her to bed once she has fallen asleep!

Wishing you all the best with Andrew - hope he settles back into his usual sleeping mode for you soon... It sure is wearing!! Enjoy your co-sleeping!!

Cheers!
