Help please!! I bought a Cherub electric pump off ebay and I'm worried that its too noisy!! Is there anyone out there with other brands of electric pumps (Nuk, Avent, etc) that can tell me whether theirs are noisy too??

I'm thinking of switching to a manual, although it will be hard work at least its quiet and can be done discreetly when your not at home!! :yelclap:

Also, can anyone tell me how long it usually takes them to express and how much they usually get in one go? I really don't know how to tell if this pump is any good.......

Thankyou!!!!! :ecomcity:

I used an Avent ISIS manual pump for about a month. I found it easy to use, and would often feed DD her bottle whilst pumping.

I had started DD on formula, so that really slowed my supply. On a good day I would get about 50mL, expressing 4 times a days (when DD had a bottle) For a while I was getting 200mL/day, then 100mL, then nothing!

If you don't think that you are getting enough there was a recipe on here a few days ago for biscuits to increase your supply. They sounded yum.
