Looking for Daycare Mum

Hello,

Anyway out there know of any available and reliable daycare mums. We are currently in a daycare centre, which are fantastic but also have their downsides. if money wasn't a issue we would still stay with the daycare centre, but it is costing an arm & leg. it has come down to us rethinking our financies.

Where are you? Be aware that day care mum's aren't that much cheaper than centre based care - but it will depend where you are, and how many hours you need.

A few friends already are with daycare mum and are paying what I pay at daycare. And others are paying half the price. I am on the northside but able to travel at the moment desperation has really kicked in that we are willing to try and look into a daycare mum plus what other options there are. We only have 1child and seriously did not know how much expensive it is. I guess everything is still a learning experience for us. My sisters with kids have told me it gets worst :-)

Honey, you haven't mentioned where you are ... only that you are on the "North Side".

Let us know and maybe one of us will have someone that you can contact to get the info that you need.

It is pretty tough with kids to stretch the budget, but believe me ... there are ways!

Hi have you tried to get into Family Day Care? Family day care is a little bit cheaper because your not paying for all the extra's. Im a family day carer and it is very affordable with the help of the benefits from the government. To find your local one, just go to your local council office and they will tell you where to go from there. Family day care is run through the local councils, so they will be able to help you. Sorry guys I am at Kedron. I have contacted the Family Daycare centre so fingers cross they are have someone available. :)
