Hi there!
Does anybody know anything about the All Stars? I sent applications for my daughters there, and got back what looked a lot like a form letter saying to make an appointment for them to come in and have an assessment. I'm just wondering of this is the standard response everyobdy gets, or if they actually looked at their photos and decided it was worth their time to have us come in.
Has anyone signed with them, and are they any good?
Thanks loads! I love this forum, by the way, reading all your posts really helped me decide which agencies to apply to!

Hi Gina,
DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM!!!! The experience I had with them was not good, they over charge, and they don't have the big clients.I found them them to be not good.
My DS is with tin lids, and although he hasn't any work yet, they have kept in contact and are much more "switched on". DS could have got some work last week, however he needed to be standing independently for this particular job, and he isn't quite there yet.
Also tin lids fee is a third of all stars fee, tin lids $140 for a year if your bub is under 2 yrs. DS had just turned 1 when we joined and $140 is what we paid.
Hope this helps,
Good luck,
Shelby.

THANKS for that, that's what I needed to know! (By the way, what does "bub" stand for?)

Thanks youse guys for telling me to turn down All Stars. I did with much fear and trepidation (because they were the first agency who had responded, and I wasn't sure if anyone else would), but Tin Lids wants to sign the girls on! Whoopee!:smiliedance:

Hi there,
I definetly agree with the others, its a definate NO NO from me!
For the exact same reasons. Firstyly I found them to be unproffessional & and times rude.
During the interview process and on their contracts they fail to mention that everytime you would like you bubs photo's updated (which is prob every couple months as they change quickly) you have to pay for that!! I think its $20 per new pic uploaded! Thats ridiculous! All other agencies I know of dont have this rule. If they would have mentioned this to me earlier, I would have thought twice about joining my son!
When I comfronted them about this, they were rude and made me feel as though I have donr something wrong by questioning it.
Its up to you of course, but my opinion... NO NO NO NO!!! When the contract is up (soon) I will definetly be putting bub elsewhere. He has been eith them for around 10 months, and NO work, but its not that its more that I have rec'd NO communication from them whatsoever... No newletter updates or anything.
Other good agencies I ahve heard of are Bayside Modelling & Tinlids, and both are not very expensive
Good Luck, and thank god for these forums! :)
