just a reminder to all mummies (and daddies)

I check Jacks dummies fairly regularly (its hard when he has so many ..) but .. a few weeks ago .. I found one that had FOUR small holes in it (perfectly shaped teeth holes) - two on top .. two on the bottom

I have continued to check his dummies .. and have no found three more with teeth holes.. it was only a matter of time before the teat fell off ...

so PLEASE please check the dummies ..

thanks
Jen

hey thanks for the reminder.
I'll have to check brooke's as she is biting and pulling it out of her mouth alot lately like a game when she finds them around the house  gonna have to leave them in the fridge all the time.

Not only is it a safety issue, but it's certainly a hygiene one as well. Imagine all the nasty little germs being sucked in and out of those teeny teethmark holes....euw.

As soon as DS1 started biting his dummies (when i say this i mean he holds it, clamps down with his teeth and then pulls it away) I took them away - every last one of them! He had to go cold turkey - thank goodness we had no dramas!

But yes it is a very serious matter and I have always checked the dummies before giving them to the boys each time!

DS1 didn't ever put holes in his dummies, but everytime one of DS2's gets a hole it goes in the bin.

It's scary to think about what a damaged dummy can do... But thanks for the reminder! I'm new to dummies - Ronan never wanted one and Ariene's love of them has just taken off, but now I know what to look out for! Thanks!
