Looks good, so many bits and pieces to organise...what the hell is a Ladies Favour for?

I am getting married in May and just can't seem to get excited about the wedding part of it. So much to organise arrrrrrrrrgh!

Favors or often callen bonbonierres (sp?) is like a little token of thankyou which you give to your guests at the reception. The ladies are getting those lil bags with choc hearts and the men are getting mini port wine bottles.

Ahh it is more of a traditional thing, you don't have to do it at all! I would like to give them all something to remember the day and know how much we appreciate them being there :)

I don't have a pic of my dress but there is one on the net somewhere I will find now!!

70 guests.
If you do alot of research to see where to big costs are and alternatives, you can cut alot back.
For example, we are making our own cd for the ceremony rather than pay someone to play the music, after all, who will care when all eyes are on you hehe;)
We made the invites and favours.
I got silk flowers, much cheaper and they won't deteriorate during the day/night.
Cocktail style is much cheaper than a sit down meal and you also do not need to buy table decorations, place cards etc etc
I could go on and on and on!
