Just wondering if anyone knows where i can find a good FS and how much they charge???

i have never used one but maybe go and have a good talk with you normal gp as you need a referal... Hope you find a good one goodluck.

I think my old gynae. specialises in fertility now. Her name is Julie Lindstrom and she's fabulous. Very down to earth and tells it like it is (which is what I like!). Her details are:

Hello,

If you are looking to go down the alternative therapy pathway, my naturopath, Debbie Leigh at Paddington specialises in Natural Fertility Management where she will consult with you as a couple or individually if your partner isn't into alternative therapies.

The website has a very good spiel explaining the Natural Fertility Management, the website is www.paddingtonclinic.com.au.

I found Debbie to be fantastic, definitely recommend. We didn't want to waste time and fell pregnant very quickly after starting to try.

We went to a naturapath too, after being diagnosed with idiopathic infertility. I can't rave about him enough!

I am not sure of his address but I do know Dr Glenn Stirling is fantastic!!!!!

I believe he is part of the Qld Fertility Group.

Our best friends have just gone through 2 years of IVF with him - they are now enjoying their beautiful baby girl! He is very down to earth, good listner and I am lead to believe drop dead gorgeous! :D

I am actually seeing Glen Sterling and he is fantastic...and yes he's not hard to look at either:o !!! He's located at the Brisbane Private Hospital on Wickham Tce, he's the director of City Fertility. Here's his details:

Ring as soon as you have decided to go down this track as it could be up to a month before you are able to get in to see him...oh and I was just told yesterday that he's on three weeks holidays so it could be even longer now.

I also see Glenn Sterling - and you are right, he aint bad to look at either!!!

He is extremly proactive, and hasnt seemed to "mess about" he has gotten straight onto my problems and hopefully now we are on the right track for a BFP.

You will need a referral from your GP, and i think the first time i went to Glenn the charge was $120 - but you can claim that through medicare, but i cant remeber how much i got back!

Hi Girls,

I'm new to here .. and I have my 1st appointment with Dr Glen Sterling on the 8th Jan 07 ..

We too have to do IVF, no if's or buts about it .. it's our only hope .. I'm awaiting my information from City IVF but just curious if any of you can remember prices etc ..

Is ICSI included in the price .. we have to do that also ..

Hi Jody,

ICSI is not included in the price and it is non claimable with medicare or private health. You can claim it in your tax at the end of the year.

When we did ICSI in 2005 it cost $700, don't know if it has gone up.
