Renewing Our Vows

Our wedding was rushed - 2 weeks after our little girl was born prematurely at 26 weeks. It was small - we had a severe lack of funds. So could only invite our immediate families and Grandparents.

I lost my wedding ring yesterday (found it thankfully!), and this got me thinking about renewing our vows. We have been together for 12 years, and married for 7. Would it be silly to renew our vows so soon after our real wedding.

I'd feel a bit silly because it's not really a wedding, but I want to do something! It'd be a good excuse to have a party and a holiday.

How do these normally go? I haven't been to one, and not sure what happens etc

we are renewing our vows on our FIRST anniversary.. just us.. something special..

We want to do something similar because we had the same sort of wedding the first time, rushed, un-organised with a complete lack of funds!!!

I think it would be a good idea to renew your vow's and its definatly not too soon, quite a few renew theirs after a year

I think it sounds like a great idea!! You could do something similair to a wedding that you never got to do, but rather than buy a traditional dress you could get something of a simpler version maybe like a more aline style dress still in white!

Your little ones could get all dressed too, and you could do something like a cocktail party. Why not celebrate it, it is never too late! :D

It would be heaps of fun I think to do it all again and have all that attention on YOU hehe!! Go for it girl!!
