Active toddler group

Hi

Anyone out there with an active toddler want to get together in an enclosed park or on the beach one morning?

Don't want to exclude babies but I spend most of my outings running after junior so would prefer to meet other mums in the same situation so that maybe our kids can run after each other instead.

I'm free weekends & am also in the Caloundra area (plus I know a few other mums who would very likely be interested).

My DD is a 12 month old firecracker who loves nothing better than making her poor 5m PG mum run after her all day long!! I'd love to be able to get a break and have her chase/be chased by other kids! :laughing:

Sounds like a good idea! I hate going to things and im the only one chasing the kids around and miss out on conversation!

And glad to hear it's not just the boys that are like this. Trying for either Tues,Wed or Fri next week at this stage (nothing like keeping the options narrow!) and maybe we can alternate with a weekend so MrsMiggins can get a break.

I've been on bub hub a lot looking around, but just haven't been chatting! Matthew's 18 months old now - can you believe that?? He's growing up so quickly now - he's a little boy!! I hope you and your family are all really well - not too long to go until your new bub arrives. Looking forward to when we can catch up!!

Hi Kris and other mums,
I've come up with a couple of parks - Cotton Tree park in Maroochydore is pretty good, there's lots of trees and a big sandpit and playground. There's also Nelson Park in Alexandra Headlands that I've heard is pretty good - lots of shaded areas, playground etc. I'm not too sure of parks in Caloundra/Kawana area!! Probably pm each other when final decision is made!!

i dont know of alot of parks that are enclosed - only play area that i know of that is enclosed is the one at chancellor tavern at sippy downs (we can have coffee while the kids run riot!!)

Sounds interesting i am also in the caloundra arear...the only enclosed park i know of in caloundra is kings bech and i personally dont think that is a good park...let me know how things turn out

The weather's been pretty horrible, hasn't it?! I've had no idea what to dress Claire in each day because one minute it's hot & humid, the next it's freezing cold, raining & blowing a gale!!

I can't do Wed next week, but may possibly be able to do half hour or so on Fri if it's at the same location.

hi i am interested i have a 2 yr old and a 3 week old and i need to do something to get rid of some of the toddlers energy and to do something special with him please some one pm me and let me know if anything has been organised as i cant keep up with the posts

Sorry I couldn't make it today guys! Frustrating when it's only 5 minutes away!! :(

I could have gone, but would have had to have left 10 minutes later (probably just as Claire had gotten used to everyone & was wanting to stay & play).
