View Full Version : Non-Bulky Night Nappy?
Can someone recommend me a non-bulky night nappy?
I popped Cobey in his first Dreamy times last night, stuffed with a hemparoo and a microfibre cloth, his hegs were SO FAR APART it was like he had just starred in a western, and I think it had a bit to do with his 4am wake up after fighting sleep until 10pm.
FAR too much for my little lad to be in (although it worked well, touch dry at 7am!)
What do you use at night?

 Little western. Sorry i can't get that image out of my head.
I use a Fuzzi Bunz on Dakota for a night nappy stuffed with just two Mircofibre boosters and it doesn't seem to be overly bulky on her. Keep in mind she's a chubby Duck and has the leg rolls going on
I don't think there's such thing as a non-bulky night nappy to be honest but with a bit of luck maybe someone else will be able to shed some light :fingerscrossed:

I use either BBB + wool cover, or I use Tots Bots Bamboozle + wool cover. The TB's is definitely trimmer, I was so worried the first night I used it, I thought there was no way it would last all night - but it did! I put him in it at around 7pm, and don't change him again until about 8am. He sleeps in my bed - and while using bamboo + wool we've never had leaks. Never!
You can get them at http://www.ecobabe.com.au
Bamboo would be the trimmest as it is thinner yet more dense such as the Bamboozle. We use a Huggle which is super bulky and a Dream Eze which is quite trim. We have used the Wonderworks which is trim and works well. We have also used a bum Genius not too bulky.

I've just read over this thread again - a non-clothie would think we're talking gibberish  !!!

I agree with that about the Bum Genius nappies, they are relatively trim! But I guess they too depend on how much you stuff them as to how bulky they can get;)

I know  I try to make it undertandable but I guess as you work it all out it makes sense! Cloth isn't complicated but there is muchto learn....
You girls are a wealth of knowledge! :hugs:
Now I have to choose, and then convince Chris! (HAH!) I could "choose" one of each, but I don't think the husband would be up on that.

Our favourite night nappy is the Huggle (which i got form nurture nappies) stuffed with either hemp or a bambooster. With her wool soaker on over the top.
I've also used plain terry flats (on wash day) with a microfibre and hemp booster in place. Again, with the wool soaker over the top. Seems to do the job:thumbsup: Not too bulky, either.
