Crawling- what age?

My 6 month old loves to be on his belly. So much so that if I put him on his back he will immediately roll over. The past week or so he is holding himself up real high with arms all the way out, and is pushing his knees up under himself. He bounces like this for a while, then either slides back onto his belly or falls forward onto his face!

How old was everyones bubs when they started crawling?

My first bub was 7 months old when she started. I think they can start aroun 5 months, and average age is something around 9 months :)
It's exciting when they start to do new stuff!

:wave: Avalon was 7 months and has just started walking:yelclap: She turned 1 two weeks ago.Airlie was about 8 months and fat bubba Zane was nearly 10 months(i'm sure it was cos he was sooo big he couldn't hold his weight!:laughing: )Friends have had their kids crawling at 5-6 months so I gues whenever they work out their co-ordination.I found they did the rocking and falling forward for a couple of weeks before they took off.

My bubs coming up to 9mths and is not crawling. She likes to sit. We still do tummy time but she really doesn't last long. I've been told that they can crawl from the sitting position so not really worried. Get carpet laid in a week so I hope she waits till after that to crawl.

My DD started commando crawling just after 6 months old, then has just recently learned how to crawl 'properly' at about 7.5 months old:thumbsup:

DS has just started to crawl properly at 9 months

6.5 months commando crawling. He can do the hands and knees but he will only crawl commando style. My litle soldier boy :)

He can't sit on his own yet - each time I try and put him in the sitg position, he's straight off crawling again.

Sarah is 7.5 months and has just started getting up on her hands and knees, and rocking back and forth. So hopefully not long now! She can roll like nobody's business though :)

Just before 11mths and she doesnt actually crawl correctly - hands, one foot and a knee but she goes real fast lol The funny thing is shed get up on hands and knees a bit (but never got crawling) for a couple months before that but shed end up bum shufffling around lol
