As i sit here - toothpicks on eyelids ( its only 8:55  but I am so tired ) listening to make sure DS has resetlled - I am torn.

He used to be fully wrapped ( arms in -but up) . As he started to become more active - we thought it best to try and "wean" him off wrap. This started very well - tried with just one arm out and the other wrapped - no problems.

This week however we thought we would try both arms - aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!! is all I have to say! Very unhappy baby :( Cried and cried until I could take it no longer and went and put his little hand inside the wrap.

Often I will go and check on him before going to bed and both arms are out - but he just doesnot settle without the wrap over the hand............. I suppose he will give it up when he is ready - hope I am not still wrapping a 15 year old ;)

Any advice - kind words- anything would be appreciated :)

Hi LucyP! Im sorry to hear of your settling troubles. I cant offer advice as my bub was the opposite and didnt like to be wrapped! However I can sympathise with the fact that its awful having an unsettled baby. There's nothing worse because you just cant relax while they are frustrated.
All I can say is *hugs to you* and I hope it gets better very soon. :)

We are going through pretty much the same thing, we are trying to 'wean' bub off the wrap... He won't even settle through the day unless he's fully wrapped, and of course I get fustrated and give in so we have gotten no where yet *sigh*...I can't offer any advice but Iwill be watching for some!!! :o
