Hey all,

Sorry if this has already been posted, but thought I would post the link to an article published today in The Australian. Researchers in WA found that children bf for longer than 6 months had better mental helath outcomes. Haven't seen the original research so couldn't offer any comment on the quality of it, but sounds interesting...

Here's the link: http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20653737-29277,00.html

Cheers :)

Hi FinnsMama,
It has actually been posted in the general chat section but I think it is more appropriate in this section.

I think it's great that the benefits of breastfeeding are being further studied, and announced to the world.

Bubby and I just read this article. We are both very pleased to hear that his mental health is going to be in good shape. He reckons he needs all the help he can get with me for his mum.

Cheeky little blighter. :p
