hey there im having trouble finding a maternity bra that works for me... :(
i am quite large and as my pregnacy goes on im getting bigger, and yet none of the maternity bras i have tried seem to be doing anything for me...
i have also read thath wearing an underwire bra can stop the milk ducts ( if that swhat u call them) from growing and producing the right amount if any milk for bub... is this true? and if so where can i get a bra without underwires that will support me still as i dont like feeling like my boobs are around my ankles...
do u think that if i was to just use a normal but copfy bra that has the right support is ok for me or is a maternity bra essential? i know i sound so usless but this is my first time around and i really have no idea...
have you tried bonds maternity bras??
im not pregnant but i just bought some light contour ones(not maternity) and they are soooo comfy!!! you can get heaps of different bonds ones without wire and different levels of support. big w is best place or maybe k mart. target has practically no bonds stuff:thumbsdown:(well, here anyway) and bonds do big sizes(im a DD)

im a DD atm too and still growing im scared i wont be able to fit into a bra anymore soon...( hubby is loving it tho.. as they do)
the one i got yesterday was from big W but it was not very helpful at all... its not fun having big boobs anymore lol
Yes you can where just a soft cup bra with good support. I'm a 18H  and they will only get bigger I've found that if you get a good fitted maternity bra or soft cup bra they can give you just as much support. At the moment I've got one maternity bra but it's huge I'm waiting on one i bought off a website now and thats just a soft cup bra and hopefully will look a bit nicer.

I found the best thing I did was go to Myer for a fitting- yes, it's a bit :o , but soo worth it- those nice old fitting ladies know a thing or two about how your shape will change as you go along!
There are other good bra shops too, but being in a regional town, Myer is about it here. But they have cheaper brands too, and the plus is that they stock more for bigger-busted girls- I was a 12H when pregnant/feeding Ronan, and a 12E now, with Ariene.
My soft-cup bras for feeding are waaay more supportive then my underwire ones in the same size- They're not exactly attractive bras, but I actually look quite perky in them!

Hiya
I got some Berlei maternity Bras and they are just as supportive as my normal underwire bras - and they are really comfy. I bought some normal bras without wire first off but they just dont provide enough support.
I bought Berlei barely there http://www.berlei.com.au/catalogue.asp?PID=168
and was fitted at Bras n things who were really helpful, they also sell them at Myer. They are about $49 each but way way worth the money.
Hope this helps
