Im wondering what might be going on with my 18 mth old. Ever since her grandma left after staying with us for almost a week, my little girl has just turned feral!
She is not interested in eating or playing. She grizzles and sooks over the smallest things all day long.
It's almost like she has forgotten how to play with her toys? She just throws them around then starts grizzling?
I usually dont use the word "no", but as of late i have had to because she has just been out of control. When i say "no" to her after the 17th time she cracks a tantrum because she cant go out in the rain...she has started to slap and yell back at me! It's so unlike her!
I must admit, after watching my mum with her, my dd does get spoilt with her grandma. She always picks her up - not letting her walk, runs to her beck and call and is pretty much in dd's face 24/7 untill dd goes down for a nap. Then it starts all over again. When dd had a fall, it was 30 mins of cuddling and "are you ok now"?.... an hour later my mum was still reminding her about dd's fall.....
Where as i would giver her a cuddle, no blood, she's fine. Forget about it, move on.
DD doesnt get a chance to do much for herself when grandma is around. Im not so sure if this is a good thing??
Would this be why she has turned all sooky sooky lala on me?
I just want my happy girl back who walks into walls and laughs it off! She just seems really miserable as of late. She has a couple teeth comming thru but they have never really bothered her to change her personalitly like this!
Advice anyone? to get my little girl back?
Also, she's been going to bed for the night at 6pm instead of 7 the last few nights and sleeps thru till 8-9am. She is just un-manageable from 4.30pm onwards! Even DH has a hard time dealing with her when he gets home.
DD is usually excited to see him now he just gets greeted with sooking.
This morning i ended up giving her a morning nap which she hasnt had for a couple mths (usually has 3hrs from midday) because she was showing all her tired signs. She grizzled for 20 mins but is now sound alseep.
