View Full Version : Pen removal
Does anyone have tips for removing blue ink pen from a black and white photo?
I stupidly left a beautiful photo of the girls on the table near the card it was to be included in for a friend's birthday and DD1 thought she would decorate the photo. Any suggestions for removing the pen?

I think I have mentioned these on here somewhere before.
Chux amazing squares, they are small white foam squares that you just rub across the offending stain and it magically disappears, you find them in the cleaning aisle. I have used them on all sorts of surfaces but not photos. They have no chemicals in them so at least there should be no reaction to the photo.

hi i was going to suggest the chux magic things to .
they are my new best friends.
you could always give it anyway and say it is more sentimental now ,as it includes some baby art .
good luck :D
I am having a shocking week!
I looked at the magic wipes thingys but they need to be damp and from past other disasterous experience I know that water will affect the surface of the photo. So I need to get another one printed. The laughs just keep on rolling today!
Hi Draught
Noticed I'm a bit late but what about those 3M cleaning cloths (you know, no water of chemicals needed). I've used them to get crayon off a book (with fairly glossy pages), the screen on my *new* laptop and outdoor furniture. It might work with a pen?
Cheers

I have used the chux things after squeezing the life out of them because I did not want water on something (may have been the computer keyboard. They still worked quite well.
Probably around the same price to get another printed than to try several cleaning things anyway!
