I am so excited.
For the first time ever I am semi organised. I have done alot of the Christmas shopping and will be finished by the end of November simply cos I know what a nightmare shopping is at that time. I have put alot of things on layby so yay I'm so proud of me. Accept this year Jordan is also having a stocking so those things I will collect each week when I do our food shop.

We havent done anything yet.
I brought some of DD's pressies when target had that gigantic toy sale.
But we always decorate the tree and house on the 1st of Dec every year.
This year we are having my mums side of the family's xmas party at my house(week b4 xmas) and I am very excited to be putting on such a big happy function.
I guess I better get preparing what to make and whos bringing what!

I've only bought ONE present thus far...I kept putting it off...and now I'm freaking out that I won't have it all done and paid for by Christmas!
We're going to WA for Christmas this year (we're in Qld) to see DP's family... and I'm worrying about who we're gonna see on Christmas Day. I don't want to give presents to everyone I THINK is gonna be there, and have other people show up and not recieve any presents from us (though, really, if anyone DOES show up, they shouldn't expect presents because I don't KNOW anyone else than those I'm planning on getting presents for).
Usually I'll buy for DD, my brother, Mum, Dad, DP's nieces, DP and my friend Belinda. THIS year though...I have to buy for MIL, SIL & partner, MIL's fiance (who's like, 73...what on earth do I buy a REALLY OLD man?) and BIL. I'm paying off some professional photos we got taken of DD...I'm thinking about just wrapping them and giving them as gifts.
I'm also freaking because we won't have enough room in our suitcases to pack presents BEFORE we leave, so I'll have to get them AFTER we get there...and we arrive late December 21! AARRRGGGHHHH!

Boxes of cheap choccies are great for those unexpectant guests.. The person feels special as they got a gift and you have got away with the extra costs!!
At least most of you are organised.... as for the rest of us.....!!!! OMG!!!!
*Note to self - BE MORE ORGANISED NEXT YEAR - OR ELSE! :shame:

My problem is my dd is my first girl after having 2 boys and everywhere I look I seem to see something for her. Maybe I should just not look.
I am a little bit organised though. The toy sales helped alot.
I'm also freaking because we won't have enough room in our suitcases to pack presents BEFORE we leave, so I'll have to get them AFTER we get there...and we arrive late December 21! AARRRGGGHHHH!
Pack the pressies in YOUR suitcase & just buy all new clothes for yourself when you get there!!!

I'm so disorganised too! cept I think that my excusesare valid our house was (and still is) packed up at end of July and put into a shipping container its still there as we've been to Mandurah in WA (if you dont know where it is it really isnt that small cos hi5 are going there) and are now settling in at Townsville hoping to bring our things up very soon(like next 2 weeks!) then once that expence is over Then Can focus on Christmas YAY!! DH wont let me really buy anything until its up!! I'm eyeing off several things already for kids though honestly have no idea what to get DD as its her 1st B'day on Dec 20th then of course Christmas just 5 days later. My 2yo (28mo) now has more of an understanding which definately makes me want to do a bit more this year! when he sees he trees in the stores or the santa dolls he'll point and say "its Christmas, its Christmas!" Very excited as its our first year just us, no extended family must do visits [note to self continue not telling my mum where we live or big drama will follow on Christmas eve/day] what can I say she's the only hiccup in our celebrations every year but not this year! Silly Drama Queen needs to grow up and not butt into ours when its not wanted!
Hooray for Christmas!!!!!!!! :smiliedance: :yelclap:

Dashing through the draught in a one-horse open sleigh,
Over the fields we go, laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tails ring, making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight.
Chorus
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
