My daughter is 18 weeks and I dont want to start her on solids till at least 22 weeks but I have got a lot of sweet potato and pumpkin (halloween and all) which I was going to puree as her first foods...how long can you freeze the puree for...and if you add ebm to the puree should it be done before or after you freeze...does this make any difference in the length of time you can freeze it for? Oh and if you making own rice cereal can you freeze that...and is rice syrup a safe sweetener for babies?
Thank you!

Dear Mytillieroo,
Your questions regarding food safety aren’t really in my area I’m sorry. I’ve attached a link regarding the safe freezing of food, and you would need to talk to a doctor or dietitian about the suitability of rice syrup for children. I hope you can find the answers you need.
