We have a (rough) set money limit for the other family members, but our own, we'll go to say $100 each if need be. If we find something decent for $50 though, that might be all we get!

This year i've got:

Between them: an outdoor table set (those red, blue & yellow ones with bench seats)
Mackenzie - My First Leap Pad & 2 books to go with it.
Charlee - Cabbage Patch Newborn

Plus they get things in their stockings from 'Santa'. Kenzie so far has a little mini magnadoodle thing and a dora bag. Charlee i don't know yet...probably some little toys of some sort.

Charlee is too little to really know yet, so i'm not spending a fortune on her, and they get so much from all our family, alot of it would just go to waste....

As we only have DD again this Chirstmas (will be different next Chirstmas), I tend just to buy without really keeping track of how much I spend. We usually give her something big and then lots of little things.
So far I've bought:
Daycare Xmas: toy vacuum
Santa: Toy toaster, DVD, hair bobbles, playdough and other little bits & pieces
Us: Swing set (second hand from friends $0)
3 x My First Leappad Books
Books
Glitter thongs

Will probably pick up anther couple of little things under $20 in all the pre-Christmas sales. DH just shakes his head every time I tell him I've bought something else and he has about as much of idea of what DD's getting on Christmas morning as she does:laughing: .

Oh, have also been buying little bits & pieces for her avent calendar - hair clips, toy animals, matchie cars, stickers etc.

well it is hard to stick to a limit when u set one.. we have a limit for neices and nephews which is decided with my sister as she spends the same on our kids.. for our children we have a limit of $200 each for xmas... out of this amount i make sure there is 1 big pressie from santa and a stocking and 1 big pressie and the rest is from mum and dad... of course this year my DS is the only one who will have any idea as our second child will only be like 2 weeks old... there for we have not spent as much on them.. they still have a fair amount of presents though.. because of this fact i have tended to spoil DS a lil more than what i was going to do... my DF just looks at me and shakes his head.. money wise however it has worked out to be maybe an extra $100 this year which is not to bad i dont think considering lol... i am going to have to learn to stick to my budget though a with having a child right near Xmas funds will be tight.. we also have a budget set for their b'days which is $100 each for their b'day... not sure if this helps or not but that is what we have decided to do for our children...
