I also use S26 (not gold just the normal S26) Wyeth Formula, this was recommended to me by a friend who did breastfeed and wanted to wean her baby onto formula. My son sleeps 6 hours during the night but still wakes for one early morning around 4am. This could be just his sleeping pattern and probably isn't due to the formual but I would still give it a go.

I don't think changing formula will make any difference. Changing formula should not be taken lightly. They do vary and changing for no good reason can do more harm than good.

He will prbably learn to sleep through soon, most babies that age still wake for a feed through the night. It is all still very normal at this age.

I agree, changing formula will not make your baby sleep through the night, in fact it might make it worse because changing formula can really upset your baby's tummy.

My son is on S26 Gold and he's been sleeping through for about a month now (he's 16 weeks). All babies are different, my older 2 didn't sleep through for years.

Be careful with the thicker formulas... they made my bub constipated, even though they are supposed to keep bub full for longer!

My son started on S26 Gold when I stopped breastfeeding. After a while I switched him to NAN & he started sleeping through the night. In saying that, my best friends baby is also on NAN & has never slept through the night (he is 10 months). I think it was just a coincedence. Bub will sleep through when bub wants to

i dont think it has anything to with formula....zoe has S26 and sleeps 8 hours at night, and has done from 2 weeks, its just the baby;)
