sorry about the title - but I am wondering if copious amounts of vomit after eating a particular food can mean an allergy or intolerance to it?

DS had quite a bit of "vomy" (DH coined it that) about 1-2hours after eating mushrooms and also the same effect with bananas........

Hiya lucyp (long time no see!)

I wouldnt call it allergy, something totally new might upset bub's tummy. For allergy the symptoms are pretty heavy like:
• Itching and swelling of the face, mouth, and lips

• Skin rashes such as hives

• Watery eyes, runny nose

• Vomiting or diarrhea

• Wheezing or difficulty breathing

• Loss of consciousness

Maybe bub is full? Because thats what Thomas would do after big meal :o coz they just LOOOOVE to eat and doesnt know when to stop lol

And I'm not too sure but mushies might be wee bit too young for bub?

Hi there,
i'm currently breast feeding my 8mth old DS and a couple of weeks ago i introduced formula for various reasons. He was on the S26 Ha for allergy prone babies as he gets eczema.
After each bottle i was wondering why he was vomitting so much. I took him to get an allergy test and found out that he was highly allergic to milk and eggs. So i figure now why he was vomitting so much, he also came out in a rash too.
The doc also said not to give him mushrooms as they can cause allergic reactions. So your bub might be allergic to mushrooms. Maybe give the mushrooms a break for awhile and try with them later on.
Hope this helps

Hi there.. my daughter vomited copiously after eating eggs,...she also broke out in a rash and became very itchy and irritated,. I would steer clear of the mushrooms for a while,.
