Where to stay in Geelong??

I don't know the area very well and need to book overnight accomodation, preferably within walking distance of McKillop Street?

Any ideas?

There's Quest apartments and the Mercure. Quest is a bit further out so it would be about a half hour walk to McKillop St. But TBH, Geelong is pretty small. You could walk from one end of town to the other in half an hour.

There are serviced apartments on McKillop st which I've heard are good. There is also a nice motel on mercer st but it does back onto the highway.
