View Full Version : Help with baby shower pressie please
Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I want to put together a baby shower gift for a friend that is lots of little gifts all wrapped individually with a little tag on each saying what they are used for. I have seen it done before but can't remember all the things. It's unusual stuff, like salt with a tag on it saying "use in the bath to help heal stitches"
If anyone can list some (or even if you can understand what I am going on about :o ) or provide a web link please do so.
TIA.:fingerscrossed:
2 marbles for in case you loose yours
An eraser to erase any mistakes you make
That kind of thing??
Thanks for the reply, those ideas are great. If anyone has creative ideas for baby things to put in as well, that would also be fantastic.

hi there,
at a friends baby shower the organiser did a nappy "cake" she got several different sized round bright coloured boxes then bought a box of huggies newborn nappies and put them in and used ribbon and bows to stack the boxes up to look like a tiered cake
also for the daddy so he doesnt feel left out if you get a tool belt and put in some "useful things in each hole ie a bottle brush a squeaky/bright toy for distracting baby, some baby powder etc
just thought of something funny to add to your gift basket if you add in one of those eye masks with open eyes on them so she can still keep an eye on the baby hehe
some bonds singlets never go astray either
something she might appreciate is to get the other people to offer to do things or you could depending on time constraints)
vouchers to do ie wash dishes up, do the washing, bring over a meal, if baby is not sleeping to come over and let her rest and just watch bubby for a couple of hours etc
just noticed you have a seven month old so pehaps not the last one but maybe suggest it for someone else or could do it at the baby shower do up a list of things that you know your self would be helpful and get the people attending to write down what they're prepared to do and write their numbers down.
hope these ideas help you!!
Natalie
