Inside Nappy (http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j275/KarniF00l/For%20Sale/swaddlebees011.jpg) - The one on the left side is the cream velour. It's not stained.
and Inserts (http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j275/KarniF00l/For%20Sale/swaddlebees013.jpg) - A five layer hemp French terry quick-dry insert designed specifically to fit the unique contour of Swaddlebees pocket nappies.
I originally paid $27 for the nappies each and $7 each for the inserts. I have since noticed that they have gone up in price where i got them from, so make a reasonable offer!
PM if you would like more details.
A unique design that combines the convenience of an all-in-one nappy with the absorbency adjustability of a pocket nappy.
Made with a waterproof outer layer of PUL, 3 sewn in layers of high quality microfibre terry, a layer of microfleece, and a full layer of cotton velour next to baby’s skin.
Microfibre terry is used as the soaker pad for its ability to absorb wetness fast. A layer of microfleece is used to provide a dry barrier between the velour top layer and the soaker pad. Cotton velour is used as the top layer of the diaper for its non-allergenic properties. Natural cotton is one of the least allergenic materials known to man. It is also one of the most moisture absorbent materials there is.
The result is a nappy that quickly absorbs moisture and wicks it from the baby’s body to hold it away in the soaker
layers. The fact that microfleece or suede cloth is not directly in contact with the baby’s skin enables those who are sensitive to those materials to use this nappy and still get the stay dry effect.
In cases where additional absorbency is needed, a booster or insert may be added through the pocket opening at the back of the nappy.
I have been using my sample nappy for about 6 weeks now and I just LOVE this nappy so get ready for a new nappy experience.
TIPS ON USING:
1. The nappies need to be pre-washed at least once before use. Three to four times, and dried in between, is preferable. This causes the cotton fibres of the top layer to fluff up and become more absorbent. You may experience leaking if the nappy has not been pre-washed sufficiently.
2. Hemp inserts/doublers perform best when additional absorbency is needed.
