i have looked on the reflux web site and she has about 60% of the symptoms

I have taken her to the doc and he dose not wanna put her on mylanta or anything like that just yet and told me to prop her cot up and try a thickener for her formula and see how that gose 1st dose this sound right to you

Dear Lesley,

Your little girl could very well have reflux. Start by trying to feed her small amounts more frequently to avoid large feeds accumulating in her tummy and leading to vomiting. If it is possible, try to keep her in a more upright position during and after feeds, and be careful to avoid lifting her legs when changing her nappy when her tummy is full. A dummy immediately after feeds can also be helpful.

You can try an anti-reflux or thickened formula – however, these will not work for all babies.

It might be a good idea to start a record of your bub’s symptoms, and note any changes that occur with positioning, formula type, feed amounts etc to show your doctor. The more information your doctor has about your little girl, the easier it will be to make the right diagnosis and recommendations.
