Is it normal?

Hi,

Just wondering if I "should" limit the amount of feeds my 17month old daughter has? I've noticed that most bubs her age are only having 1-2feeds a day.

On average she feeds at 5am (dream), 6am, 9am, 1pm, 4pm & then at 7pm. She feeds to sleep during the day & at night.

Being a long time breastfeeder, I would say that your little one's feeding patterns are perfectly normal for a baby of her age -if you and she are happy, why limit her nursings? It's superfood, you know!!!

The "other babies" you mention are possibly having restricted access to the breast but then if this is what feels right to their mamas, that is fine too.
