Hi Bron:)
Can't help you with eggs I'm afraid - mine are past their use-by too. I did relate to your story though - I also have a ds 2.5 conceived via IVF and haven't been able to give him a sibling, which I am desperate to do!!
Have faith though - a couple of months ago, I found my dream donor to help me. If I had made a list of everything I wanted in a donor (I did actually have a mental list) she is everything and more. It will happen for you too - just a matter of time.
If you aren't already at Aussie Egg Donors - come on over!!:)

Hi Bron
Bubhub have had some very successful matches, there are many of you in perth looking for donors and queensland seems to have donors looking for recipients.
You might find it useful starting a thread about something in the egg donor issues so that potential donors might get to know you a bit more

Hi Bron,
interesting to read your story, we are also in WA and I have been a patient at Concept first and now Pivet - also looking for an egg donor now.
I am told Concept is the only one in WA willing to waive the quarantine.
Interesting to read about potential donors in Queensland.
Best of Luck,
Alice.

Hello
I've been away for so long. Apologies for not being around more and keeping everyone up-to date with us as well as offering support. After some very heartbreaking months, we're still in the process of looking for a donor. We had another very close friend offer to donate in December last year, and we'd gone through all the couselling and completed the three month cooling off period. My friend and I were just getting in sink with our cycles but then disaster struck! My friend wrote me a letter and said she'd changed her mind after a lot of consideration, and she could not go through with the donation. I totally accept that it is her decision, and its better to know now, it's just very hard for us now as we have to start again in searching for a donor. My heart is really broken. We were so excited.
If any wonderful, kind lady reads my posts and feels she would consider donating to us, please send me a PM or email. You would be doing something so precious and wonderful, we would be forever grateful to you and you would hold a very special place in our hearts.
thanxs
Bron
Oh Bron....it really hurts your heart when this happens, hey?
But, it's better to found out now, before she donated, rather than after. At least this way, you can keep your friendship in tact.
Have you joined up at any of the ed support sites?

HI Roxy
No I haven't joined an ED sites yet, but I have heard of a site called AED. A nurse at my clinic told me about it!! I'd never heard of them before. I'm going to join this week.
thanks for your kind words -it's nice to get support - it's been a very rough few months. I guess can only get better from now on!

Hi Bron:wave:
nice to see another WA lady here though sorry to hear you're friend couldn't donate in the end! It's a long hard road I know! I hope you find a donor soon, the waiting is the very hard part!
best of luck to you and your husband. :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: I found keeping busy on the forums was a great way to let others get to know me, and I found a lovely donor that way.
ElX
Hi Bron...
I was wondering if you had heard about AED. I am a member there, that's why I was asking.
Head on over - I'll keep an eye out for you..

Hi Girls- Great news to hear some of you are
finding donors.
I have just started my own new thread. I am
from Perth and going through Hollywood. I
have had 13 transfers (many IVF and FET)
and nothing but BFNs.
Already used one donor with to FET but BFNs again. At 43 I need a miracle if anyone is out there as I have no children and hubby and
I so badly want to become parents. If you
know of anyone please contact
tlburns@iprimus.com.au.
Thankyou and good luck girls you deserve
it.

Hi again Bronlovesrob, you are more than welcome to ask for my opinion on names when your next child arrives, which wont be long i´m sure. I have a friend who has an array of fertility problems, she has a 5yr old daughter but is having trouble conceiving again and she cries on my shoulder almost daily,:crying: and sometimes she vents her anger at me for falling pregnant so easily, but thats fine thats what i´m there for, i can take it. When her daughter comes to our house she doesn´t want to go home, because our house is literally like a circus most kids like it. Anyway please feel free to ask any advice from me anytime.

hi again Jodie,
yip it's really hard with friends who have lots of kids - I hurt so much when yet another friend is pregnant with second or third child. Part of me is really REALLY happy for them, because aren't children a joy, but of course I'm secretly wishing it was me, and wondering if/when it will be my turn. The hardest thing is my son not having any siblings.
But anyway, I could go on all day....:) You're so nice to be so understanding with your friend!
will be sure to ask all your favourite names should I fall preggie again.
