What to get a 3 year old

I need some help. and i know its stupid that i have a 3 year old, but parents have didn't ideas.

Abby has been invited to a birthday party and was wondering what to give the little girl.

There is a really good DVD out, which belongs to a children's story book, and my girls love it. ( 3 and 2).

Would you buy someone a dvd for their child birthday? or should i buy her a barbie or something?

Any ideas would be great. or even your opinion if i should buy her the dvd?

I think the DVD is a great idea. Everyone else will probably be geting her toys, so the DVD would be something different. Just a quick Q...How well do you know the little girl? If you know she'd like it then I'd go for it:thumbsup:

i dont know her at all...

But Abby plays with her all the time at daycare. They are close friends.
