To keep a bleeding vax thread opened.

So, we have a difference of opinion and sometimes even a fight. But we are grown ups aren't we? Why can't we have a fight and get over it??

Not one vaxx thread will ever stay open will it?

I know, its hard to be pro vax on this site:). I tried to post on their a few minutes ago but it was closed.

I didn't get to read the whole thread. Hope they didn't give you too hard a time beebs.

I do think it got a little out of line towards the end. But I still think we can work it out ourselves, I just don't understand why everything has to be locked all the time. It makes me feel like we are all 5 year olds having a tiff in the playground!

I do not agree with your opinion on the topic of vaccinations but I do agree with you about the threads being closed. I always feel like a school child being told when a topic is no longer acceptable to s school principal or the like.

Is this the pro vaccination forum?

I guess they get closed when the rules get breached. Personal attacks are against the forum rules, so threads get closed. But yeah, I see what you mean.

for me the hight light of the thread was people pro vaxers arguing with a pro vaxer cause they thought she was anti vax, rather amusing if you ask me.

Well the rules are pretty clear. This is a moderated forum and I don't think anyone would be unaware of that. If the rules are breached (posts are not polite, rude etc) then often a thread is closed and cleaned. It's outlined quite clearly in the rules, it's not a matter of a topic being unacceptable it's when the mud slinging, personal attacks and so on takes place, none of that is helpful or necessary to a topic.

And for the record, none of us enjoy closing a thread, it's a really undesirable outcome :(

Like all threads on controversial subjects where members have strong opinions, seem to end with insults and name calling instead of debating topics in an adult manner.

Starting spin off threads to mock or attack others views is also against the rules and end up closed as well.

Same with starting threads to question moderation ... so on that note I'll close this thread. ;)
