Ok, so it's 12:44am and I am currently sitting upright in bed with a completely-sealed-shut blocked nose. I can't breathe through it at all and if I lay down I can't even swallow properly as it creates a little seal at the back of my throat where my nasal passages join, if that makes any sense.
I have a box of Flo Rapid Relief nasal decongestant spray in the medicine cupboard. I read online that nasal decongestant sprays are ok to take so I went and fished it out but on the box it says consult Dr if pregnant or breast feeding. So I called Nurse On Call and the nurse said not to take it.
Internet says ok, nurse on call says no. Oh what to do!
I'm desperate for relief, and some sleep before DD2 wakes for her 3am feed would be great!
Has anyone else discussed nasal decongestants and breast feeding with their Dr?
