Up the nose

Thought i'd post it here, dont want to gross anyone out :rolleyes:

MJs got a stuffy nose, & I want to squirt some milk up her nose, but everytime I try, she latches on (cant get enough :p )

How do you do it, or do you express & drip it in?

I guess you could squirt it in with a medicine syringe after expressing??? I have only ever done it straight from the boob though, when I felt the strongest let down at the start of the feed, then it squirts the furthest!! Good luck, it might get messy ;)

i express it into a cotton ball and squeeze it onto his eyes or cord stump. i guess you could do the same for nose but ive never had to yet

Rainbowbrite, I wouldn't have thought your question would gross anyone out!

My breast milk cured my cracked nipples. I had tried everything else and was ready to give up breastfeeding altogether, but someone suggested using my breastmilk and massage it into the sore nipples. They were better in a couple of days and I never had another sore nipple the whole time we were breastfeeding - it's amazing stuff Mother's Milk.

I wonder if I drink it myself, will I gain super powers? :laughing:

For sore irritated eyes I have used cow's milk but I wouldn't bother with cow's milk up the nose;)

he he...no it has to be wonderful breastmilk.

Just as BM has magical powers for bubs stomachs is has the same effect on noses, eyes, and any other little infection or scratch, cut rash etc

I also use my breastmilk on my own scratches and cuts :)

The stuff is liquid gold.

Awww you beat me that was what I was gonna say, med syringes are great for awkward spots, and wriggly kids!!
You know I didnt know any of that stuff when I was breastfeeding so my liquid gold was wasted. I can't wait to try "natures cure all" after I have my next baby!:smiliedance:

Well I did it, straight up the nose :smiliedance: . It was hillarious though, everytime I tried MJ would fight me to try to have a drink, then start laughing cause I was laughing :laughing: I ended up telling her i was going to squirt her up the nose in a joking way & she let me, laughing the whole time :laughing:
