Lanolising wool covers

Hey ladies, I was wondering where you bought your lanolin to lanolise your wool covers/soakers? I went to the health shop and chemist yesterday to see if either of them stocked it but neither of them knew what i was talking about:o Am i searching in the wrong places:confused:

I've decided i'll just purchase some over the net - i just wondered where you all purchased yours? Or otherwise, what do you do with your wool products?:confused:

Apparently you can use the stuff you put on cracked nipples (I can't think how to spell it this mornign!), it is alot cheaper then purchasing the stuff off the net....

But in all honesty I did purchase the all over sray stuff off the net - much easier in my opinion!

Lansinoh or Marcalan cream which is the nipple stuff. You can definitely get it at the chemist. Its just lanolin cream.

Put it in a bit of hot water to melt it a bit and mix it in before putting it in the water. Turn your soaker inside-out for the best results.

You can get spray on stuff too, from ozebaby website, but I just use the Marcalan.

Ooh! After reading KarniFool's post, i think i like those Angel Blossom scents:p I've just had a squiz - umm, how do i buy it? I can't seem to find anywhere to click to put it in my cart:confused: :o

Just register and contact them saying that you are interested in buying a Lanolin scent then they will direct you from there :thumbsup:

I got some spray lanolin from WeeWuns,

otherwise I use the lanolin dissolvable balls I got from
Darlings DownUnder (http://www.darlingsdownunder.com.au),
I think they're out of stock at present though

Lasinoh is quite expensive. I have used it as well as the lavender balls and the spray (which i super easy and looks as though it will last a while!)

I was given 2 tubes of Lansinoh when DD2 was born but never used it for my nipples. It wasn't until I got wool covers when she was about 9 mths old that I remembered that I had it:thumbsup:

www.twinsincloth.com.au has spray lanolin for $16, i think thats the cheapest I have seen. I have 'Happy'.
