Mods if this is not allowed please delete

I hate having to do this but due to a few different reasons we have to re-home our rabbits. We have asked around and don't know anyone who wants them so I thought I'd ask the bubhub members (more trustworthy in my eyes than some random person if we put them in the paper)

We have two female, grey and white cashmere (long fur) lop rabbits. They are both three and half years old and they are both desexed. They can not be caged together so I'm happy to seperate them (they fight when put together) and both are in the metal cages on stands with plastic bases (ie. indoor, or under cover cages). They are also both litter trained.

We are asking for a small amount of money as we want to make sure that they are really wanted and going to a good home.

We are in the Newcastle area.

PM me for more details and photos if you are interested.

Hi,
rabbits are illegal in some states should be all states as they are considered vermin and they are quite often dumped in the wild, I know many people who just let them live in their backyards with no cages etc so many states have amde it illegal to keep them. I personally feel we need a lot more restrictions on the keeping of pets especially cats as they do so much damage to our wildlife there are many responsible pet owners out there but there are alot who aren't. I have had rabbits and they make a great pet I hope you find a nice home for them.

Mummycat I drove three hours to get my dog!

Just bumping this up and hoping that someone who lives closer wants one...thanks though! They live with a dog and have lived with a cat too...very versatile bunnies!

Kelly I agree that more should be done...in saying that growing up we did have our rabbits run free in our backyard but they always went back in their cage of a night time and never got out of the yard. They ran around the backyard with the dog, our bird (a cockatoo with it's wing clipped) and the nieghbour's cat used to sit on the fence!

Hi Carmen,
I live in Newcastle and am very interested. I need to talk it over with my flat mates, but have been thinking of getting a rabbit or guinea pig for a while, but as i am totally opposed to pet shops and the contribution to the excess of unwanted animals we have, i thought i would just wait for a rescue to pop up or see what happens.....looks like this may be it!:)

Can you please PM me with details.
