View Full Version : Unsure, baby no. 3
 I just wanted to write & hopefully get some good advice! My name is Cheryl, I'm 25 & I have two beautiful boys Joshua (3 in DEC) & Nicholas who is 13months! And for the past couple of weeks I have this overwhelming desire to add to our family & I just can't get it out of my head! Okay, now for the reason's I'm going crazy & can't make a decision, firstly I only stopped breastfeeding about a month ago, secondly I just joined a gym & trying to get back into shape & thirdly is it really the right time, or should I wait! This will probably sound stupid, but I'll write it anyway, I keep thinking to myself what's the point of going to the gym, feeling really good about the way I look & then falling pregnant again & gaining back the weight, so i say to myself, well, get pregnant now, have baby, then focus on me & my body after baby 3! Then I think, no just concentrate on me & my body for a while, then get pregnant again down the track! My husband has told me he will support any decision I make, just as long as it makes me happy! But that's the problem I just can't seem to make a decision & stay with it. I also keep thinking that maybe this overwhelming desire is my body trying to tell me something, that now is the right time! So if anyone has some friendly advice or just some friendly words, I would really appreciate it! ;)
Hi Cheryl,
I truly think that this is a personal choice that only you and your husband can make together....I am sure that you look fantastic, especially considering that you have had 2 children.
Light exercise can still be maintained throughout your pregnancy if you decide to add to your family...so I would not be too concerned with that part of things...also you are only young and have the time to ponder on this for some time before you make your final choice....Good Luck in whatever you decide....I am sure that in some way or another the universe will help u in making your decision....
Have a great day.

Hi there Cheryl, I have two girls ages 7 and 4, So the age gap is quite different to you... My husband and I are trying for baby no. 3, and have decided if we don't do it now the age gap is going to be enormous and we are still really young to do what we want, so either way really doesn't matter... I was like you in the sense of all I did was think about it the first month we tried and sent myself nuts doing so... After I got my period in that month I took a different approach, and became a lot more relaxed and alot less fanatical, unfortunately still not pregnant however, but am happier with the way I now think and feel towards getting pregnant... Like Bec said it is such a personal decision between you and your husband, and by the sounds of it, he supports you no matter what... So I suppose you have to decide now whether the time is right and what sort of gap do you want between children  ... Also you can still exercise while your pregnant, even better actually, because if you start exercising now and it takes you a couple of months to fall, It will make no difference to the pregnancy as you can still do all the things you did before falling pregnant... Hope this helps, take care and keep us posted... :D
