Today Bub Hub was lucky enough to be invited to have morning tea at Kirribilli House with Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

We just wanted to let you know that it was a positive experience and Julia was very interested in chatting about BH.

What was very interesting it that YOU are being listened to!

We wanted to let you know that the debates on issues of interest - child care reform, family tax, cost of living etc. are being noticed by the people in Canberra! Your voice is being heard on the Bub Hub.

Hi! Sorry I only just saw this today. There wasn't actually an interview as such - more of an informal chat over tea and biscuits. BubHub was invited to this morning tea in June last year along with a number of other people who work in the internet parenting sphere. The PM chatted about how the Bub Hub forum was a great way for her to keep track of the issues that real people are talking about, which we thought was quite interesting. Issues that pop up on our forum ARE being noticed by the people in Canberra!
