Hi Ladies,

Has anyone ever experienced strong wind pain during their early pregnancy? Its seems to last 1/2 hr - 1 hr and gets me every morning from about 1 - 2am. I've had it for a week now, and I'm about 6 weeks pg.

Does anyone know of any safe miracle cures for it???

I had the same thing around the same time. Quite painful and not a nice way to wake up! Lasted for a good couple of weeks and I haven't had it now for a week or so which is great - I upped my intake of metamucil which may have helped (if you try that, be prepared for a couple of days of increased wind if you haven't taken it before). But at the time, when it actually happened I found the best thing to do was go to the loo with my feet up on a bit of a stool/box or something so my knees were higher than my hips. This seemed to help get the wind out pretty quickly. Alternatively a bit of yoga helps - on your hands and knees then slide your hands forward so your arms are lying along the ground stretching out in front of you, face touching the ground, and your bum still up in the air. Looks ridiuclous, but seems to ease the pain. Stretches it out and once again helps get the wind out. Also, try lying on your back, legs out straight then pull them up to your chest and hug your knees for a while, rock around a bit, seems to help. And then try variations with one leg up and the other down, and alternating. Think it gets the whole digestive system moving along nciely! So there's a few tips! hope it helps and that you get over it soon.
