Where are you going for the holidays?

I hope this is the right place to put it, but i thought that i would start up a new thread!! just wandering what you are all doing for the holidays, what is your holiday destination?we are going to lakes entrance, it's no nice down there, plenty to do for the kids too

I assume you are talking about the xmas hols?

we are going to the G coast for a week.. Im familiar with the area, and because we are in rural nsw, the kids harldy ever see the beach.. and when they do.. they have a ball!!

Also get to do some fishing, and catch up with mates :D

We're avoiding the school holidays so we are having a week away in Noosa the end of November and a week away in Byron Bay at the end of January!!

Also avioding school holidays. Going to QLD in early December with bubs and my Mother (hubby has to work) and in early February going to Forster with hubby. Can't wait!!!!!:) :) :)

We're staying put for this xmas. We usually run between families, but this year it will just be the 4 of us.
We went to Sarina/Mackay a few weeks ago to visit my BIL and his family and it was great to be away. We didn't want to come home, DH even started looking at jobs up there!

Were staying put at xmas, will have a newborn to deal with!! Been invited to a wedding in mid February though, so we'll spend a couple of week up in coffs harbour and up with the inlaws.

we are going to Sydney and to the south coast. about a week for each!!!
Catching up with family at both.

LOL....we too are avoiding the school holidays, as our son is only 15 months, so I dont like the crowdedness of school holiday times in shops etc.....

So in early November, we are heading down to Fingal Heads mainly for a friends wedding............ then in late november we are heading to Straddie for the weekend........

Then next year in June we are heading up to Townsville for a week, as a friend of ours is getting married on a cruise around the Islands.....so we decided to make a holiday of it.....:smiliedance:

I love the beach, so they are all beachy areas.........

I don't think where doing anything this year, it'd be good to get away for a few days (or weeks) but I guess we'll see what happens. I will have my license by then so we can hang out at the beach a bit more. :smiliedance:

We are off to the America
DH has work in New York so we thought why not make a holiday out of it we are going to
The Bahamas, New York, Florida, California, Canada and Hawaii.

DD & I are going to Rainbow Beach, QLD with friends. Though we will be going earlier in December just befor school holidays start.

We are having our first family holiday this xmas and are going to QLD to visit friends and family. We are driving so will be stopping overnight at Coffs Harbour then staying a week at Forest Lakes and then 4 days at Ormeau (Upper Coomera) and 2 days in Hervey Bay. I am so excited :smiliedance: and can't wait to take the kids to the Theme Parks and see friends and family we havn't seen for a while.
