I have taken the mini pill whilst breastfeeding all 3 of my boys. I have had no problem with supply and crossover to baby is minimal. Most midwives and GP's would recommend the mini pill as an effective contraception whilst breastfeeding.
Good luck

I have been taking the same mini-pill since MJ was 2months old. I havent noticed any reduced supply or anything else like that. Best you can do is try it and see how you go I guess?

Hi
I was also on the mini pill while bf both bubs and had no problems. I gues it depends on how strongly you feel about becoming pg again and other forms of contraception. My ob told me that 100% bf was effective contraception for the first 4 months, but we have all heard of ppl getting pg inside this time  .

I started taking the mini-pill when my bubba was only a few months old. She is now 9 months old and Im still breastfeeding her - so no problems for us.
Good Luck! :D

;) I was on the mini pill for approx 12mths and never dad a problem though out this time. Try it if you don't like it stop and found another form of contraception that suits you and your partner.
All the best.
I used the mini pill when b/feeding Coops and when he was 9 mths I fell pregnant with Matilda, I think it was because he had cut down on his feeds, and you really need to be full feeding for it to be truly effective..
